GREAT news to report. I just got a call from Teresa, the nurse at my surgeon's office, and I was told that 21 nodes were removed and ALL 21 WERE BENIGN! No specks of cancer in any of them.
To say that this is a huge relief is to understate things, to say the least.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! Actually, you want to know what's ironic? Nate had his semi-annual appt today with his kidney doc and his tumor STILL has not grown any, so surgery can be delayed at least another 6 months. (It's already been almost a year and a half!) It appears that the both of us got good cancer news (hard to use those words all together, isn't it?) today. :)
