This blog began as a way to update family and friends about my breast cancer journey, and has morphed into a diary of breast cancer, therapy, family updates, and ramblings about my quest for spirituality, frugality, peace, and a healthy environment. I welcome your comments.

I'm a cat person and your post about Mo and the anguish of seeing him so sick made me cry. (Been there, done that.) I do hope it was in fact something as simple as a bee sting (assuming that's simple) and he's okay.
Kristina - Don't know if you knew it, but we have three cats. Cookie is almost 2; Buzz and Woody are brothers and are about 9 months. All different; all loved. Interesting that we got Buzz and Woody through a friend in Thousand Oaks who is a great cat person who's name is Gretchen. So-o-o-o glad your Mo will be fine. It's always so much worse when the crisis attack in bunches.
Libby told me about your blog. I have been working part-time at a community college where we do a lot of physicals. Every female physical includes instruction on breast self-exam. One of the doctors always tells the girls that 1/3 of breast tumors are found by the woman herself through breast self-exams. I will be telling that doctor about you finding yours.
I will be checking your blog regularly and praying for you and your family often.

I was terrified to read about Mo. So nice to hear that he is going to be eating tuna fish again in no time!
