This blog began as a way to update family and friends about my breast cancer journey, and has morphed into a diary of breast cancer, therapy, family updates, and ramblings about my quest for spirituality, frugality, peace, and a healthy environment. I welcome your comments.

What strikes me is how your eyes sparkle in the recent photos. Yes, you look slimmer but (dare I say) you look happier?
I am sickened by the thoughts of the surgeries you face. Though the "ovaries out" surgery is yucky, it seems really, really important...and recoverable. I am excited for that this risk is to be removed on the 30th. The breast recon, well this seems just as traumatic! My goodness, Kristina, the decisions you have had to make have been grusome! I wish you peace now that you have made your difficult decisions. Sounds like you have great surgeons and this gives me faith that, despite this horrible experience, there is something "good."
May the sisterhoods of womanhood and motherhood keep you healthy and light of spirit. I think of you everyday and pray for your wellbeing.
Corina
