Attending their first chemo.
Crying with their families.
Trying new drugs.
It makes me cry.

I met Dennis Slamon several times when he visited my long dead company looking for funding. His personality seemed to be nothing like the one Harry Conick portrayed. But who cares? My dear neighbor took Herceptin and is in fabulous shape. I'm glad they made the movie. It really shows what it takes to develop a drug, especially one that's first in its class. Yes, many tissues.
